Course Description

Wastewater Sampling For Industrial Pretreatment This course covers an introduction to Florida Department of Environmental Protection standard operating procedures for sampling. Students will learn analytical methods, field planning and mobilization, quality control, general sampling procedures for water/wastewater, and trace metal sampling. Course includes a hands-on component for autosampler techniques, pH meters and trace metals. Required minimum qualifications: 1. Must have accumulated 6 months of experience in wastewater sample collection, field testing and/or laboratory sampling This course does not include an exam; attendees will be issued a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the course.
